Stars Manhandle Chicago Again 3-2

Every year, there's a team that just dominates you. For Chicago, it's Texas. With tonight's win, the Stars are now 5-0 against the Wolves on the season. The win took Texas to .500 on the road trip and sets the on the right foot going into tomorrow's game against the high-flying Admirals, currently ranked #1 in the West.

Tonight's win also puts Texas in 4th place themselves. After the Lake Erie games, where Texas sat in 6th place, it is a nice reward for the team to see themselves actually moving up the standings board when they win.

The Stars also found their special teams play a little bit more tonight. They held Chicago to only one power play goal, scored one themselves and even put in a shorthanded goal in the 3rd to tie the game. The game featured 81 penalty minutes included a misconduct to the Chicago coach and a game misconduct to Andre Deveaux for butt-ending Mathieu Tousignant. It was Deveaux's second game misconduct at the end of the game in as many games.

In addition to all that, Richard Bachman stopped 42 of 44 shots against him on the night. Texas put far less rubber on Peter Mannino with 27 shots coming his way in the game. Bachman was named the second star of the game for the second straight night.
